The business of AdQuipment medical originates in 1976 under the name WTI with the
development and manufacture of an anesthetic gas monitor and syringe infusion pump,
SP102. After WTI had been integrated into the medical division of AdQuipment in
Woerden in 1981, this division was separated in 1985 by means of a management buy-out.
In 1999 the present management took over AdQuipment medical after serving various
functions within the company since its start.
From 1987 AdQuipment medical acts as European Service Center for the Bio Tek Instruments
biomedical division, presently Fluke Biomedical. To support the European sales of these
products a daughter company Biomedical Instrumentation Group Europe, formerly Bio Tek
Instruments Europe, was founded in 1989.
Based on the long experience AdQuipment medical has become a reliable supplier
for the Dutch healthcare market with a strong team of dedicated employees.
This formed the basis for the quality management system according to
ISO13485 and
ISO9001. Besides the
sales of medical equipment and consumables, AdQuipment medical operates a
well-equipped service department for the maintenance and service of all
instruments offered.
AdQuipment medical focuses on the hospital healthcare and medical industry.
Within these markets the principle departments are the intensive care,
anesthesia and biomedical engineering. The scope
of supply has been divided into five product groups.
